Just listen to Apostle’s words in this series and you’ll see just how relevant it is. So, should Race, Religion and Racism still be taught today? You know the answer. Hate groups, renegade law enforcement officers, hate within and among minority groups - it’s just sinful. Just look at recent, high profile court cases fascism is still alive and well in just about every aspect of our society. He reminded us that without the church, racism couldn’t exist. Remember, Apostle’s teaching wasn’t about racism only, it was primarily about the church. Other ethnicities are making inroads in areas of the U.S. Unfortunately, Black Americans in particular, are becoming a minority within the minority community. In the United States, our history is rife with racist overtones in housing, quality of education, opportunities and just surviving to old age for some ethnic groups. Was he on target?
